NearCoach helps stream Apple Watch workout data to a coach in real time and keeps related fitness history in the app.
Data we process
- **Health & fitness data (HealthKit):** heart rate, workout type, workout timestamps, workout summaries, sleep data, weight entries, and related fitness metrics that you choose to import or record through the app.
- **Account and relationship data:** Sign in with Apple identifier, access control data, coach/trainee connections, groups, invites, and one-time session records.
- **Operational data:** session viewing activity, device push token, error reports, and reliability/debug metadata needed to operate the service.
How we use data
- Provide real-time workout streaming during workouts.
- Show workout, sleep, and weight history in the app.
- Support coach monitoring, alerts, shared links, and post-session review.
- Operate, secure, and improve reliability of the service.
How we share data
- **With your coach:** when you create a connection or share a session, your coach can view live session data and any history you explicitly share through the product.
- **With anyone you share a link with:** if you choose to share a public link, anyone with the link can view that shared resource while it remains available.
- **Service providers:** we may use infrastructure providers to host the service. They process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.
Data retention
We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service, operate subscriptions, investigate abuse or failures, and comply with legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated server-side data from within the app.
Your choices
- You can stop sharing by ending a live session.
- You can manage coach/trainee connections in the app.
- You can remove the app's Health permissions in iOS at any time.
